These girls are great! Debbie came out to give an estimate, and it was very reasonable. They arrived on time and worked solidly for 2 days. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess. Debbie's work is perfection down to the smallest detail, there was a very big drop in my hall that I needed doing and she done it perfectly. I will definitely be using this company again, and would thoroughly recommend them.

Debbie came over within days of my phone call to quote for the areas which needed decorating and provided a detailed quote via email within 48 hours - very impressive. She arrived everyday on time (so refreshing) and has done an absolutely superb job of our spare bedroom and hallway which were in much need of decorating. Debbie is very easy to have around - her work ethic is extraordinary - she arrives and works quietly and efficiently until the end of the day. The rooms have been decorated to an incredibly high standard - as Debbie says, she likes "straight lines"! To be honest, I have struggled with decorators over the years and it has made me not want to have our house decorated as such hard work normally having people in your house but Debbie is absolutely superb. I really cannot recommend her highly enough. She will definitely be back decorating my house over the next few years.

The Female Decorating Company have been providing me with decorating services for the last 8 years and I can recommend them in the highest degree.
They are very hard-working ladies, very professional, reliable and honest, they turn up when they say they will, and complete all work to the highest possible standard and on time.
They have near enough painted my whole house over the last 8 years, inside and out, and are an absolute pleasure to have in your house. They are so quite you often forget they are there, and they don’t take tea breaks every 5 minutes like most builders.

Thoroughly recommend

I am very happy to give you a reference for your work in decorating my living room.
The room is in a large old Victorian house and so the plasterwork needed some attention and the skirting board also needed some work doing on it because an earlier owner had cut part of it away to install a fire.
You took the wallpaper off the walls and made good the plaster, painted the ceiling and redecorated the woodwork and papered the walls. You also put up an additional shelf on either side of the chimneybreast and further supported the existing shelves.
The work was very well done and there are no signs at all of problems a few months later. You did a particularly good job on the wallpapering and the overall effect is to make the room look larger as well as much neater and cleaner. The skirting board was quite difficult since it was an old deep style one with detail on it but you managed to get a very close match by virtue of using planking and beading on top, a creative approach to the problem I felt.
The work was done to time and in budget and I felt to a very high standard and overall the price was reasonable.
I have no difficulty in thoroughly recommending your work to others and when I need something doing myself I will most certainly contact you again.

Perfectionist

We have used the Female Decorating Co to decorate almost all our house now — halls, woodwork, kitchen, cupboards, bedrooms.
I can say that, without exception, they have done an outstanding job. In particular, they are:
Exceptionally professional — when they say they will be there, they will be there. They provide detailed quotes, are insured etc.
Fair — their pricing is reasonable and very good value for the time and effort they take
Perfectionists — their preparation and finish are first class. Lines and coverage are perfect.
A pleasure to have around — they are friendly, unobtrusive and quiet.
They get on with the job and are always smiling as they work.
Tidy — we got back from holidays having left them to paint our daughter's bedroom and the only reason you would know they had been there was the change in room colour and the lovely note they left our excited five year old. They even took the smell of turps with them!
I am just an ordinary customer, not a relative of Debbie's or her staff and nor were they known to me before their decorating services.
I just think good service providers are worth their weight in gold and deserve to be successful.

Debbie did a brilliant job in decorating a bathroom, bedroom and a number of doors in our large house.
She was very thorough in the cleaning and preparation of the surfaces.
She was very considerate in not invading our space and always cleaned up well.
We were really pleased with the final finish and can thoroughly recommend her work.

I used The Female Decorating Company to decorate my bedroom and I have to say it was so nice to have such lovely ladies working in my house. As an elderly single lady I felt so comfortable having these lovely friendly ladies working in my home, I felt so at ease having them here as I didn't like the thought of having male builders in my house so was over the moon when my hairdresser told me about these lady decorators. They worked quietly, cleanly and very efficiently and I was amazed at the transformation of my room. They are really professional, clearly know what they are doing and are absolute perfectionists, I could not fault a single thing about them or their work and I will most definitely use them again the next time I need some decorating done.
